Blades for corded and cordless reciprocating saws install into power saws and are not interchangeable with blades for air-powered (pneumatic) tools. They make rough cuts rather than precise or finished cuts, moving back and forth in the saw to cut aggressively. Blades with higher teeth per inch (TPI) cut thinner stock and make finer cuts than blades with a lower TPI.
